Are you Selling on eBay??
=================================
Did
you know that eBay has an Affiliate Program?
Register
for the eBay Affiliates Program.
A great way to make extra cash from your auctions!
Why not earn even more when promoting
your auction links by using your affiliate code in each link! You
will earn $5.00 per registration, and .05 cents for every bid!
If you aren’t selling on eBay yet - this is a good time to check it out! Sales are
UP during the holidays ;)

eBay Account!
Sure, I want
to make money on eBay... but what would
I sell??
You can sell virutally anything on eBay! From household items you would normally sell in a yard
sale for pennies on the dollar, to informational products (books,
publications, reports, etc) that don’t even require shipping!
Do some research! Choose an item (clothing, a book,
electronics - something specific), and see how well it has done
on eBay in the past by searching similar completed auctions:
Search Completed eBay Auctions
EBay receives
over 1.5 billion page views per month! Over 9,000 new users register
with eBay every day! This makes eBay one of the greatest money-making opportunities on the
internet! Click

Quick Tips: Signature Files,
Confirmations & Search Engines
=================================
- Signature
Files
Using
a Signature File in all of your emails is a great promotional
tool! If you are using Outlook, you can set this up automatically
by following these directions:
From the main Microsoft
Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
In the Compose in this message format list, click
the message format that you want to use the signature with.
Under Signature, choose the signatures that you
want to use for new messages and for replies and forwards. You
can use different signatures for each.
- Confirmation
Emails/Pages
If
you have a newsletter or ezine with
an automatic subscription process, it most likely sends a “confirmation
email” to all new subscribers… Make sure that you
include pertinent information in this email, such as your website
address, and also include additional resources and links (think:
“backend sales”!). Also, for those of you that have
pop-up windows and/or subscription boxes on your webpages,
redirect the viewer to a “Thank You” or confirmation
page after they click the ‘subscribe’ button –
Use this page to encourage your new subscribers to visit specific
areas of your website as well!
- Search
Engine Tips
Having
trouble finding what you are looking for on the internet? Check
out this informative tutorial by David P. Habib
and Robert L. Balliot:
How
to Search the World Wide Web:
A
Tutorial for Beginners and Non-Experts
http://204.17.98.73/midlib/tutor.htm#HCO
You'll
learn smart tricks, like:
A
phrase is a sequence of words that has a particular meaning and
is formed by enclosure within double quotes. A phrase is treated
as a single term and is usually searched as such.
Examples:
"American customs"
If
a query asks for American customs rather than "American customs",
the responses will be for the words American and customs separately,
in addition to the coupled words. This increases the number of irrelevant
hits enormously. Use phrases whenever you can appropriately; they
are one of the most effective means of sharpening meaning and narrowing
a search.
Great
Site for time-saving search tips!
